My ‘Appliance of Science’ strapline for Zanussi won the account for Geers Gross back before the old queen died. I then worked on the business for 5 years, writing countless TV commercials, press campaigns plus lots of brochures, booklets and videos. Zanussi (and Electrolux - their latter day owners ) used the strapline for years and recently re-introduced it.

You can buy cheaper, you can buy dearer, but you can’t buy better than a Zanussi Z70 dishwasher.

At less than £300, the Z70 is a superior all-round buy than dishwashers costing twice as much.

At any price, it’s a great deal - designed to give you maximum performance at minimum running costs, using less powder, less water and less electricity.

But Zanussi’s appliance of science doesn’t stop there. The Z70 is a model of superior modern design, with 7 wash programmes, from intensive with pre-wash to a simple rise-and-hold, to produce excellent results every time. The Z70 has a two-position top basket, versatile enough to give you the capability to handle anything from the portliest pot to the daintiest dish.
